This is just Abbi, getting started.
I’m a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I am a Life Science and Communications major, recently switched over from Genetics.
I realize many people in the world have Type One (or Type Two) diabetes, but I also realize that many of those people are REALLY BUSY! Who has time to go to support groups these days?
If you can, great! If you can’t, come here!
My plan is to start this off being about me, because I Have no other content, and then as more people follow turning it into an online support group where people share tips, tricks, and ideas on living with diabetes.
It is a chronic illness but that doesn’t mean you can’t live a full life. You can work, go to school, travel, have relationships, and be “normal”. Maybe even all at the same time!
Let’s keep things light and just have fun, the world is stressful enough on its own.
This is a wonderful site. I look forward to watching it grow. Great work, Abbi. Well done.
Thank you Mandy! I appreciate you taking the time to look through my site! Keep checking back and let me know if you have any questions! 🙂
I think its really cool you are putting yourself out there like this! It is a wonderful way to help others!
Thank you! As always I appreciate the comments! Let me know if there are any topics you’d like me to cover!

Hi,
I was wondering if you accepted any guest posting on diabetes? I couldn’t manage to find your email on the site. If you could get a hold of me at ahayes@drugwatch.com, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks,
Aubrey
